The USI-CMHCS has formed a partnership with the Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti in Udaipur to collaborate on mutual areas of interest and promote the study of military history in India and overseas. There are a number of joint activities being planned under the partnership. Some of the areas of cooperation include research on the Mewar State Forces and Battlefield/Heritage tours in the region of Mewar. Preliminary work on the above-mentioned activities is already underway. The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) is also sponsoring the Maharana Pratap Chair of Excellence for the year 2022-23 instituted at the Centre under the aegis of the USI.
