UDAIPUR MILITARY FESTIVAL

Indian Military Heritage Festival

The United Service Institution (USI), India’s 153-year-old institution is working tirelessly to create the annual  'Indian Military Heritage Festival' in synergy with the policies of the Government of India to give a new thrust to the study of Indian military culture, traditions and history to add  tangible value to the Government of India programmes of Atmanirbhar Bharat and ‘Make in India’. The festival intends to bring together Global and Indian corporations, our public sector undertakings, non-profits, think-tanks and associations, as well as high net-worth individuals, who are committed to national security and philanthropy, as well as being open to the general populace including students, academicians, research scholars, and people interested in the themes for this year's event, for cross-pollination of ideas and discussions.

The Festival is being planned as a flagship annual programme that will showcase India’s rich military heritage and military traditions before a global audience. With 2022-2023 being the year of India's leadership of the G-20, we are proud to be working in tandem with Government of India's strategic policies to affirm our position as a global powerhouse, a truly vibrant democracy, and a rising power in Asia working for the development of all countries in the global south. The Festival is scheduled on 21 to 22 October 2023 in New Delhi.

The domain of military history and heritage is not only virtually untapped, but has significant growth potential in creating an informal dialogue that can play a major role highlighting India’s security concerns and shaping the defence industry of our nation.
