Lt Gen PS Bhagat Memorial Lecture

COAS has instituted at USI Lt Gen Prem Bhagat Chair of Excellence (COE) to commemorate the visionary leader. He was one of the few leaders who was awarded the highest pre independence gallantry award ‘Victoria Cross’ and was the first Bombay Sappers to reach the exalted rank of Lieutenant General. In addition to COE, it has been decided to hold Lt Gen PS Bhagat Memorial Lecture annually.
