As part of the MoU with the United Service Institution of India, New Delhi and Assam Rifles, it has been decided to organize the Major Bob Khathing Memorial Lecture every year.  This year the lecture is scheduled for 23 December 2022 at USI.  The theme of the lecture is “Leveraging North East Region for Enhancing Peace and Stability and Furthering India’s Act East Policy”.   It is being delivered by Lt Gen Rana Pratap Kalita, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C Eastern Command. Welcome remarks will be given by Maj Gen BK Sharma, AVSM SM** (Retd), Director, USI and Introductory remarks will be given by Lt Gen Pradeep Chandran Nair, AVSM, YSM, PhD, Director General Assam Rifles.
