The study conducts a diagnostic assessment of
China’s ‘Comprehensive National Power- 2035’, examines its implication for
India and suggests a strategic response to address prevailing power asymmetry
vis-à-vis China. The critical areas of focus include Comprehending
China’s national interest, strategic objectives, intent, and strategic behavior in the
post COVID 19 era. Additionally, it undertakes a 360o horizon scan of China’s internal and
external environment and evaluates the impact of the China-Pakistan
nexus.
