Report:

The HQ IDS organized a Jointmanship Capsule at The United Service Institution of India from 06 to 10 September 2021. The aim of the capsule was to enhance understanding of Jointmanship amongst the Armed Forces by bringing attitudinal changes at the working level and making them part of the transformative process. Officers of the rank of Brigadier and equivalent from the three services and HQ IDS attended the programme. Introductory remark was delivered by Maj Gen BK Sharma, AVSM SM & Bar (Retd), Director USI followed by a keynote address by Air Mshl SP Wagle, VM, DCIDS (DOT), HQ IDS and a special talk by Gen Bipin Rawat, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, ADC, Chief of Defence staff. The programme also comprised talks delivered by subject matter experts like, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, PVSM, AVSM & Bar, YSM, SM (Retd), Maj Gen H Dharmarajan, SM**, VSM, ADG FP, FP Dte, Maj Gen AK Channan, PVSM, SM (Retd), Lt Gen MU Nair, SM Comdt MCTE & Col Comdt. This was followed by syndicate discussions on contemporary issues under the guidance of mentors.
