In addition to the other events conducted from time to time, every year the USI arranges a National Security Seminar, a National Security Lecture and commissions the writing of a National Security Paper. These were published as monographs. From 1998, these are being combined in a hard bound cover under the title "National Security Series" (of that year). Since September 1997, an annual memorial lecture has been instituted in memory of the late Colonel Pyara Lal. Details of these publications are attached.
