USI Digest
From September 1998 a new publication called the USI Digest has been started. It is brought out twice a year, covering the periods September to February and March to August. It mostly reproduces important articles published in other journals, which are considered useful for our officers, particularly those serving in units where access to such international literature is not easy. It is intended through this to enable officers to widen their horizons, and keep abreast of the latest strategic, tactical and technological developments. An index of the articles published to date is on the site.
Service Headquarters are purchasing 1800 copies of each issue for further distribution to units and formations. Single copies can be purchased for Rs 100/-. The Digest can also be subscribed on yearly basis (upto 3 years) at Rs 160/- per year (2 issues), plus postage Rs 20 per copy.
