- 10 May 2013 – A five member delegation from Republic of Kazakhstan led by Mr Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of Committee on Defence Security and International Relations of the Lower House of Parliament, Kazakhstan visited USI for discussion at 1500 hrs.
- 02 May 2013 – An 8 member delegation from Taiwan led by Prof LIU, Fu-Kuo, Institution of International Relations, National Chegchi University visited USI from 1030-1130 hrs.
- 29 Apr 2013 – Mr. Richard Burge, Director Wilton Park, London visited USI for a discussion on 'Af - Pak Region beyond 2014; Stability in Pakistan; and Nuclear Concerns pertaining to Iran' from 1400-1530 hrs.
- 25 Apr 2013 – Dr Murray Scot Tanner, PhD, a China specialist from Centre for Naval Analyses (CNA), Alexandria, USA visited USI for a discussion on 'The US Perspectives on the Future Role for Land Forces in Asia' from 1000-1215 hrs.
- 23 Apr 2013 – A 10 Member delegation from Sri Lanka led by Maj Gen GUDUA Perera, Commander Security Forces, Killinochchi visited USI for a discussion on 'Sri Lanka Security Challenges and Priorities' from 1315 - 1530 hrs.
- 23 Apr 2013 – A 20 Member National Defence College (NDC), Philippines delegation led by their President Brig Gen Fermin R De Leon Jr, PhD (Retd) visited USI from 1030-1200 hrs.
- 17 Dec 2012 – A Four Member Kazakh Military Training Delegation led by Maj Gen EL Urazov, Head of Military Education and Science Department of the MoD came to USI (CUNPK) for discussion from 1430 - 1530 hrs.
- 16 Nov 2012 – HE Mr Pierre Vaesen, Belgian Ambassador accompanied by Mr Jochen Anthierens, First Secretary visited USI to meet the Director at 1130 hrs.
- 09 Nov 2012 – Mr Johan Frisell, Director and Deputy Head of the Security Policy Department (SPD) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden accompanied by Ms Sofie hillbom, Deputy Director at the Global Division of the SPD visited USI for a discussion with the Director from 1030-1130 hrs.
- 09 Nov 2012 – Ms Sarah Cliffe, Spl. Advisor & Asstt Secy Gen Civ Capacity, UN HQ visited USI for a discussion on CIVCAP project with the Director from 1500-1545 hrs.
- 16 Oct 2012 – A 32 Member Sri Lanka Defense Services Command & Staff College (DSCSC) delegation led by Brig HL David USP psc on an overseas study tour to India came to USI for discussion from 1200 - 1400 hrs.
- 26 Sep 2012 – A 17 Member German Capstone Course (DCC) Delegation led by Brig Gen Carl H Schreiner came to USI (CUNPK) for discussion from 1430 - 1630 hrs.
- 19 Sep 2012 – A Seven Member Bangladesh Army Delegation led by Brig Gen Abdullah Mohammad Feroz Chowdhury, psc, ndc, G+, on a visit in India for 3rd Army to Army Staff Talks came to USI (CUNPK) for discussion from 1215 - 1500 hrs.
- 11 Sep 2012 – A nine member Saudi Delegation led by Maj Gen Suleiman Saleh al-Khalifa, Chief of Armed Forces Operations/Committee Head, visited USI for a brief discussion at 1145-1230 hrs.
- 06 Sep 2012 – Ms Pasricha, CEO, ASPEN Institute India, visited USI and held a discussion with the Director and DDE at 1200 hrs.
- 17 Aug 2012 – Gp Capt Benedict Smith, Defence Attache at the Embassy of France visited USI to meet the Director at 1030 hrs.
- 01 May 2012 – Lt Col Charlie Warner (Military Advisor, British High Commission, New Delhi) alongwith Lt Col Simon Colyer visited USI to meet the Director at 1615 hrs.
- 19 Mar 2012 – Mr Elyas Irfani, Director Asia Division and Mr Christopher Martin, Analyst for Pakistan and Afghansiatn in the Canadian Privy Council Office accompanied by Mr Johanne Forest, Counsellor & Head Political and Economic Programme, Canadian High Commission, visited USI for a discussion with the Director at 1430hrs.
- 13 Dec 2011 – A Three member French Defence Delegation headed by Brig Marc Demier and accompanied by Lt Col Michel Lignee & Capt Eric Elbel visited USI at 1430 hrs and held extensive discussions on strategic issues.
- 08 Dec 2011 – Professor Dr Holger H Mey, Vice President Advanced Concepts, CASSIDIAN (An EDAS Company), Germany, visited USI for a discussion with the Director at 1230hrs.
- 01 Dec 2011 – Mr Robert Helbig, a German scholar doing a Research Project at Strategic Studies Department, University of Pune, visited USI for a discussion with the Director on 'NATO-India Relations' at 1030hrs.
- 24 Nov 2011 – A Six member Norwegian delegation headed by Ms Mona Juul, Director General of the Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited USI at 1200 hrs and held extensive discussions with the Director.
- 14 Oct 2011 – A three member Finnish delegation consisting of Mr Rauli Suikkanen, Deputy Director Asia & Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland, Mr Niko Heimola, Desk Officer Afghanistan-Pakistan (Development Co-operation), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland and Mr Juha Pyykko, Counsellor (Economic & Commercial) from Embassy of Finland, New Delhi visited USI to meet the Director at 1230 hrs.
- 05 Oct 2011 – Mr Shyam Tekwani and Ms Kerry Lynn Nankivell, Associate Professors from Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, Honolulu, Hawaii, visited USI for a discussion at 1000 hrs.
- 04 Oct 2011 – Two representatives from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Germany (a private cultural non-profit institution), Ms Sarah Hees, Co-ordinator for Peace & Security Policy Regional Project Asia and Mr Rajeshwar Dyal, Senior Advisor , India Office visited USI to meet the Director at 1130 hrs.
- 10 August 2011 – A Memorandum of Understanding regarding bilateral cooperation between Korea Research Institute for Military Affairs (KRIMA) and USI of India. The MoU was signed by Mr Kim Jim Woog, President KRIMA and Lieutenant General PK Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), Director USI on behalf of respective institutions at USI of India.
- 08 July 2011 – Dr Patrick C Bratton, Assistant Professor at Hawai i Pacific University visited USI to discuss a proposal for 'Visit by students and faculty members of MA Programme in Diplomacy and Military Studies at Hawai i Pacific University' with the Director at 1100 hrs.
- 07 July 2011 – Colonel Kriester Edvardson and Colonel Mats Wigselius, from the Office of Defence Attaché, at the Embassy of Sweden visited USI to meet the Director at 1130 hrs.
- 06 July 2011 – Brigadier Williams, Group Captain Andrew McAuley and Sub Lieutenant Sean Young from British High Commission visited USI to discuss 'UK/ India Think Tank Engagement' with the Director at 1500 hrs.
- 10 May 2011 – Mr Jin Woog Kim, President of Korea Research Institute for Military Affairs, Seoul visited USI and had a discussion with the Director and DDE on the subject of 'Bilateral Dialogue' at 1100 hrs.
- 03 May 2011 – Dr Bruce Oswald, Associate Professor, Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne, Australia visited USI and had a discussion with the Director, DDE and Consultant (Research) on the subject of 'Taking and Handling Detainees in Non-Internatioal Armed Conflicts' at 1100 hrs.
- 08-10 Feb 2011 – Delegations from Norwegian Institute of International Affairs and UN Department of Peace Keeping Operations (UNDPKO) visited USI and held extensive discussions with the Director.
- 24 Jan 2011 – H.E. Mr Stewart Beck , High Commissioner of Canada and Ms Julia Bentley, Counsellor Political / Economic – High Commission of Canada visited USI for a discussion at 1230 hrs.
- 25 Jan 2011 – Mr Fabian Neuen – "Fair Observer", Washington D.C. visited USI for a discussion at 1230 hrs.
