USI of India has established bilateral linkages with Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and are in cooperation each other through conferences and seminars. In furtherance of such cooperation the websites of the two institutions have been interlinked for the convenience of the members and scholars.

Indian Military Historical Society (IMHS)
The IMHS was formed to bring together those interested in the military history of the Indian Subcontinent and to encourage research and the exchange of information. The site contains basic details about the Society which brings out a quarterly Journal. The USI and the IMHS exchange Journals on a reciprocal basis.
